Mark is a commercially minded corporate and commercial solicitor with more than 35 years’ experience spanning industry and private practice. Qualifying in 1977, he has advised blue-chip organisations such as Unilever, Sidley Austin and DLA, and has also run his own successful legal practice.

Today, Mark works independently on a range of commercial and research commissions while serving as Director of Legal Affairs for CBRNE Limited. In this role he recently led the company’s engagement with the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN) on a security-related standard and negotiates complex contractual arrangements for bio-research programmes. His deep expertise in corporate law, coupled with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach, ensures that CBRNE and its partners operate on a sound legal footing as they innovate in high-stakes, regulated environments.
