Franco Curatella

Senior AI Systems Architect

Franco CURATELLA spearheaded two pivotal working groups for the IAQG’s Supply Chain Management Handbook*, focusing on innovative applications of AI and data science in aerospace quality management. He pioneered the groundbreaking concept of “predictive quality,” demonstrating AI’s ability to forecast product quality in aerospace manufacturing, thereby enhancing efficiency and reliability. He also played a key role in the digital transformation of the Ariane 6 exploitation chain, streamlining critical processes and leading deployment and change management to drive innovation and efficiency. He founded the European project SESAME (SESAME H2020) to develop a tool for predictive quality and predictive maintenance, which is currently deployed at the Ariane 6 factory.

He is currently working on a new concept for applying blockchain and AI to the aerospace industry’s supply chain. He brings a wealth of experience in the aerospace and defense sectors, having played a pivotal role in developing two innovative digital products and holding leading positions in three major programs in aeronautics and space. Holding an MBA from the Open University and a degree in Physics from La Sapienza University in Rome, where he specialized in neural networks, he combines technical expertise with strategic vision. His skills in blockchain, deep learning, and generative AI are complemented by his proven abilities in project management, agile methodologies, process optimization, and change management, making him an asset for organizations seeking cutting-edge innovation and leadership.

*IAQG = International Aerospace Quality Group is the primary aerospace and defense company association that delivers worldwide recognized quality standards.
