Danielle holds an M.Sc. in Risk Prevention and Disaster Management from the University of Vienna and is certified as a Risk Manager by Austrian Standards plus GmbH. After completing a risk study of the emergency drinking-water supply for the city of Offenbach am Main, Germany, she began doctoral research focused on water-security management. She also recruits Subject Matter Experts for the advisory boards of the EU H2020 projects PROACTIVE and ALIGNER.

A seasoned coordinator of field exercises, Danielle served as Exercise Director for Project PROACTIVE’s CBRNe exercise in Dortmund, Germany. She has been a Red Cross paramedic since 2014 and volunteers as both a firefighter and a member of the Search and Rescue Technical Unit of the Federal Agency for Technical Relief (THW), giving her strong links across multiple response organisations.
