Donatella is a Joint PhD Candidate in EU technology law at the University of Luxembourg and KU Leuven. She holds a Master’s Degree in Law from the University of Trieste and an Advanced LL.M. in IP and ICT Law from KU Leuven, both cum laude.
As Legal and Ethical Manager for Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe projects, Donatella has conducted extensive theoretical and applied research on AI systems for businesses and security actors. She has developed and implemented both data protection and fundamental rights impact assessments, as well as (personal data) governance measures. Currently, she sits in the Ethics Advisory Boards of several EU-funded projects.
Recognised expert in data protection and AI law, Donatella helps clients navigated the complexities of deploying AI system while ensuring full regulatory compliance. Donatella is an active researcher and public speaker, regularly publishing in international journals and presenting at academic and professional conferences.
